Here’s what’s been happening in event land.
The Baths has an actual brand and she is beautiful. I’m heads down on the website, but hopefully you’ve noticed our playful pink bubbles have been replaced by our cool electric blue. She’s new, she’s flirty, get used to her. You’ll get to meet more of her soon.
I moved. I’m calling Naarm (Melbourne) home now, and f*ck me there is something sexy happening in this town every single night. 🤤 Magazine launches, nerd nites, erotic cinemas, workshops, sex shop aesthetics I’ve been trying to replicate in my new apartment. Settling in has been a whirlwind, but exciting!
I went to a founder networking night, and the first person I met was Britt. More on why that was kismet in a sec.
TWO amazing people have said “yes” to The Baths Pleasure Council (advisory board) to help provide unique perspectives, diverse voices & some spicy credentials to the creation of The Baths. More on who they are soon!
I’ve been shadow banned on TikTok (le sigh), learnt social media is not my expertise (😵💫 ←me anytime someone talks instagram to me), and now have two exceptionally cool switched-on ladies helping me navigate the Meta overlords. It takes a village.
So what’s coming?
Remember Britt from the networking night? She’s a venue sourcer! And she’s found me a beautiful short-list of venues here in Naarm to host the first-ever edition of The Baths. We’re doing venue tours this month and cross-checking everything for the perfect one.
Because once we find it, I lock in a date. And from there the real fun begins: designing the actual event experience! The right brands you want to see, the content you want to hear, and the workshops you want to attend. This whole thing becomes even more real.
That’s what’s happening behind the curtain. I can feel the momentum building, and I can’t wait to share more. 😁

⚡Patterns v No - I popped into High Tide this weekend to stock up and found a palm vibe that does patterns (hello Tootsie you cutie). Which brings us to the eternal debate… are you a patterns girlie, or a static buzz queen? Surprise or consistency? Hit reply and settle it for me.
🛍️ Buying sex toys in Mecca - A friend and I were inside the behemoth that is Mecca on Bourke St Mall and she asked how long until Mecca is selling sex toys in store (they already do a petite selection of “sexual wellness devices” online). Re: in store - I have no clue, but they make sense to be in Mecca.
Which got us into chatting about why some sex shops feel so scandalous. In NSW it’s because of the law baby. Tighter rules on signage and what can be on display are exactly why so many shops are tucked up or down a staircase or behind closed doors.
Right - back to figuring out squarespace so I can get a website launched.
